Italy: The Other Naples
Join Paul Pacter as he discusses Naples, Italy’s third largest city, and then take us on an excursion to nearby Pompeii, discussing volcanoes in general, and the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD in particular. He’ll be discussing all that you need to know about Italy including the fact that Naples was a separate kingdom until as late as 1861, and there is a Castle built all the way back in 1282.It’s also the birthplace of pizza, the birthplace of debits-and-credits bookkeeping, and, of course, the namesake of Naples, Florida!
