Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve manages 110,000 acres of nearly pristine mangrove forested estuary in Southwest Florida. In the summer months, the Reserve becomes a hot-spot nesting location for Loggerhead Sea Turtles! This program highlights the process of how the staff, interns and volunteers at Rookery Bay protect and monitor this threatened species!
