It may be cloudy and cold in Florence, Italy, in January, but the first Sunday of the month is a great time to visit four special statues of David for free. This class will look at the statues of David the city of Florence commissioned from Donatello, Verrocchio and – most famous of all – the giant marble David by Michelangelo.  We will also explore the vastly different interpretations each artist gave to this hero of their city.
