In nature, specific designs enable animals to find food, eat, grow, gradually change into adults, attract a mate, reproduce, and camouflage and/or defend itself. Design features include structure, texture, shape, size, color and pattern.  Of all animals on our planet, insects have the greatest diversity of design.
