Hoopla Services Will Be Discontinued December 31, 2025

As a part of the Library Division’s ongoing efforts to improve and streamline services and ensure responsible stewardship of public resources, we will be discontinuing access to Hoopla effective, Wednesday, December 31, 2025. After careful consideration and a thorough analysis of library expenses and patron usage of e-resources, we have determined the continued use of Hoopla services is financially unstable.

This change is part of a broader initiative to reduce redundant services and streamline operations to provide the greatest value to our patrons. Content offered through Hoopla, such as eBooks and eAudiobooks, is also readily available through our other digital services, cloudLibrary and Libby. These providers offer robust collections and user-friendly access at a significantly lower cost.

We understand this change may be a modest inconvenience for some, but we are fully committed to supporting you through the transition period. Library staff is available to assist your migration to our other online services to access the digital materials you enjoy.
